Der ILUMA™ Intense Facial Illuminator von IMAGE Skincare ist ein konzentriertes Serum für einen ebenmäßigeren Teint, geeignet für alle Hauttypen. Der Booster ist für Haut gedacht, die mit Pigmentflecken, dunklen Verfärbungen oder einem unregelmäßigen Hautton zu tun hat. Er hellt Pigmentierungen sichtbar auf, spendet Feuchtigkeit und unterstützt ein strahlendes Hautbild.

Tranexamsäure ist trotz ihres Namens keine Peelingsäure, sondern ein Wirkstoff, der das Erscheinungsbild von Pigmentierungen mildert und ein ebenmäßigeres Hautbild fördert. Vitamin C in Form von 3-O-Ethyl-Ascorbinsäure gleicht den Hautton aus und lässt Pigmentflecken und dunkle Verfärbungen weniger sichtbar wirken. Glykolsäure, eine Alpha-Hydroxysäure, löst abgestorbene Hautschüppchen und fördert ein frischer wirkendes Hautbild. Niacinamid mildert Pigmentierungen zusätzlich und versorgt die Haut mit Feuchtigkeit. Süßholzwurzelextrakt unterstützt einen gleichmäßiger wirkenden Hautton und beruhigt das Hautgefühl, ein antioxidatives Peptid ergänzt die Formel.

Das Serum wird morgens und abends auf das gesamte Gesicht aufgetragen. Durch die Verbindung aus sanfter Peelingsäure und ausgleichenden Wirkstoffen arbeitet es an der Hautoberfläche und am Erscheinungsbild der Pigmentierung zugleich.

Bei regelmäßiger Anwendung wirkt der Teint ebenmäßiger und strahlender, Pigmentflecken treten sichtbar zurück. In einer zwölfwöchigen Studie des Herstellers mit 30 Teilnehmenden gaben 93 % an, dass das Produkt hilft, Anzeichen von Pigmentierungen zu reduzieren.
