iS Clinical Active Serum is a multi-acid serum that visibly softens fine lines and wrinkles, refines pores and leaves the complexion looking more even and radiant. It is a classic in the iS Clinical range, used by aestheticians and suitable for all skin types. It is especially suited to rough skin texture, visible pores, an uneven complexion, first signs of aging and skin prone to blemishes.

It works through a combination of lactic acid and botanical acid sources. Sugar cane extract provides glycolic acid, willow bark extract provides salicylic acid, and bilberry extract adds mild fruit acids. Together they gently loosen dead skin cells from the surface, refine skin texture and make pores look smaller. Lactic acid also leaves skin feeling smoother and softer. Arbutin, a gentle botanical brightener, evens out the look of dark spots without irritating the skin.

After cleansing, pat the serum onto face and neck and spread evenly. A brief, mild cooling or tingling sensation is normal. The formula is paraben-free.

Skin looks smoother, clearer and more radiant, often within a few days. With regular use, fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots become less visible and skin texture feels noticeably refined.

How to use Active Serum

  1. Cleanse your face, for example with Cleansing Complex, and pat dry.
  2. Put 3 to 4 drops into your palm and pat onto face and neck.
  3. Let the serum absorb briefly, then apply your moisturizer.
  4. In the morning, always finish with sunscreen, such as Eclipse SPF 50+. Fruit acids make skin more sensitive to the sun.

If your skin is sensitive, start every other evening and increase slowly.

FAQ about Active Serum

Is the tingling normal?
Yes. A mild tingling or cooling for a few seconds is normal with Active Serum and comes from the fruit acids. If it lasts longer or your skin burns, use the serum less often.

Morning or evening?
Both work. Many people use Active Serum in the evening and a vitamin C serum in the morning. If you use it in the morning, sunscreen is especially important.

Can I combine Active Serum with retinol?
Both are strong ingredients. Use them on different evenings, or ask us how to split your routine.
